Competitive Pricing Policy

Myer is focused on delighting customers by offering a wide range of genuine quality products at highly competitive prices, friendly knowledgeable service, and additional benefits including the MYER one Loyalty Program, Myer Visa Card and the ability to pay with CommBank Awards and Velocity points.


The Competitive Pricing Policy applies to personal shopping for products ranged in Myer stores only.  Value added services such as delivery and Myer Care Plan are not included.


If a competitor, being another Australian retail store, is offering a cheaper price on a product on an exact like-for-like basis, in its store or on its Australian website, Myer may Price Match if:

  • The price match is requested prior to purchase, in person at a Myer store

  • The identical product (same brand, model / style), product offer or bundle is in stock and available for immediate sale by Myer and the competitor

  • A Store Team Member is able to verify the price and availability of the product

Myer will not match the competitor's price if:

  • It is below our cost price

  • The conditions for Price Match (above) are not met

  • The competitor's product is:

    • a demonstration model, second hand or refurbished
    • sourced from a store or supplier that has special conditions or trading limitations, such as Duty Free stores, factory outlets, warehouses, clearance centres, or a business under an insolvency administration
    • sourced from an unauthorised reseller
    • sourced from an online website that does not have a physical retail store in Australia

  • The price is:

    • an Online Only offer
    • a specially negotiated price or offer that is only available to a select group of people, such as a corporate rate, loyalty, subscriber or membership offer
    • discounted by means other than money, such as loyalty points, a discount voucher or coupon

Where the Myer online website, myer.com.au, has exclusive Online Only offers or products selling below cost, Myer stores will not Price Match those products.


When a Price Match is agreed, no further discounts (including Team Member Discount), or promotional offers, such as Bonus Gift Cards or Gift with Purchase, will be given.


The agreed Price Match is only available at the time and day offered.
